Joliesse (Pronounced jo’-lee’-ES’) comes from the French word for grace and loveliness, which is what we seek to create with each vintage. Sunshine guides us in all that we do; it is at the center of everything. The natural beauty of the world and cosmic energy all radiate from the sun. As the sun and the stars light our skies, so too does our label – with rays of the sun and stars that glow in the dark. We have harnessed the power of the California sunshine with Joliesse – each bottle captures the loveliness, magnificence, grace and splendor of each harvest.
CABERNET SAUVIGNON
The Joliesse California Cabernet Sauvignon is a well-balanced, luscious wine that presents with balanced acidity and well-integrated tannins. Rich garnet in color, aromas of Bing cherry, Olallieberry, and a hint of pepper entice the senses. Darker notes of blueberry, violet, and subtle minerality round out the palate while the smooth tannin structure coats the palate in an elegant and approachable way, with a lingering finish.
CALIFORNIA PINOT NOIR
Guided by the rays of the sun, we have selected Pinot Noir from the best vineyards in California. Dark crimson in the glass, the Joliesse Pinot Noir is enticing from beginning to end. You are greeted with notes of red cherry, red plum, and a hint of baking spice on the nose. On the palate, delicate notes of cherry pie, sun-ripened strawberry and a hint of cinnamon linger. Delicate and well-balanced, this Pinot Noir moves gracefully across your palate.
Chardonnay
The Joliesse California Chardonnay is an exquisitely balanced and crisp Chardonnay primarily fermented in stainless steel tanks, with a small number of French oak barrels to impart an elegant structure. On the nose, you are greeted by the aromatics of white flowers, light citrus, and tropical notes. On the palate, you continue to explore citrus notes, along with a light minerality, vanilla, and honeysuckle. With a wonderfully crisp mouthfeel and nicely balanced acidity, the California Chardonnay culminates with a smooth finish.
CALIFORNIA ROSÉ
The Joliesse California Rosé opens with lovely aromatic white floral notes with a sweet hint of ripe strawberry. Bright flavors of cherry and raspberry are accented by notes of citrus zest and a hint of rose water. The wine's bright acidity and smooth finish make this a perfect aperitif or delightful pairing with mild cheeses.
